Trust needs plain language
The WellCatholic Promise
A shared commitment to professional honesty, the dignity of every person, and care that does not ask patients to choose between sound practice and Catholic conviction.
WellCatholic exists because finding a Catholic-friendly provider should not require guesswork. But a directory badge must never promise more than it can prove.
What providers are invited to affirm
- 01
The person comes before the problem.
I will treat every patient or client as a person of inherent dignity—not a diagnosis, transaction, or ideology.
- 02
Professional claims will be truthful.
I will represent credentials, licensure, scope of practice, availability, and fees accurately and update them when they change.
- 03
Faith commitments will be stated honestly.
I will not imply agreement with Catholic teaching that I do not hold, and I will answer reasonable questions about my approach directly.
- 04
Care will respect conscience and vocation.
I will take seriously the patient’s religious commitments, relationships, family responsibilities, and ultimate good.
Important distinction
Published does not automatically mean verified.
Current directory records include information supplied by providers and earlier public records. Unless a profile explicitly carries a current verification mark, users should verify credentials and Catholic alignment directly. WellCatholic will only add stronger badges when the underlying review process supports them.
What WellCatholic does—and does not—promise
We can make provider information easier to find, make trust signals clearer, invite updates, and remove records that materially misrepresent themselves. We cannot guarantee clinical outcomes, monitor every interaction, replace a licensing board, or make a personal discernment decision for you.
