Our story

Built for the question people keep asking.

“Do you know a healthcare provider who understands my faith?” WellCatholic turns that recurring question into a public, practical place to begin.

One directory, three pathways, care for the whole person.

Dr. Greg Bottaro founded WellCatholic after years of seeing Catholics struggle to locate clinicians and guides who could take their convictions seriously without compromising professional care.

The problem was never only a list.

A name and phone number can help, but people also need to understand what kind of care a provider offers, where that provider practices, what professional role they hold, and which questions still need to be asked. The rebuilt WellCatholic makes those boundaries visible.

“People repeatedly ask me if I can help them find healthcare providers who support Catholic teaching. From now on I will be sending them to WellCatholic.”Dr. Christopher West

Integrated does not mean interchangeable.

Physical medicine, mental-health care, and spiritual direction each have distinct competencies and ethical boundaries. WellCatholic puts them in one search because they serve one person—not because their roles are the same.

Credentials and kinds of care should be understandable before contact.

03

Honest trust

A badge should never claim more verification than actually occurred.

04

Human dignity

Every design and policy choice begins with the person, not the platform.
