Dr. Salhany skillfully incorporates spirituality and religious convictions when working with a client in this type of intervention, blending her experience of over 25 years with the most effective scientific or evidence-based therapy, together with Christ-centered spirituality.This sub-specialty involves tailoring Cognitive Therapy for the Christian client, most especially for the Catholic Christian. Dr. Salhany is a devoted Catholic, active in many local ministries, and founder of Catholic Mental Health Professionals. She is married to her husband Richard of 34 years, who is an ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church.
